Meet Tom...
Tom is our experianced farm manager. His day to day, consists of looking after all of our animals and maintaining the grounds.
His work is a round the clock job, especially during the birthing season. Our Alpacas need care both day and night to ensure both mothers and cria (Alpaca young) are healthy.
You will see him working hard when you visit, but he is always willing to stop and answer any of your questions.
BIRTHING
Our Family Farm Is An Alpaca Birthing Facility.
With Mothers Being Pregnant On Average 12 Months, It's Important We Keep Them Under Regular 24/7 Observation During The Pregnancy & The Following Months. As The Young Cria Grows Old Enough To Feed Away From Its Mother.
This Means We Sometimes Have To Reduce How Many People Can Visit The Farm.
All Our Profits Help Our Cria Birth Facility &
Are Donated To Our Chosen Charity.

WOODLANDS FARM
We Are A Family Owned Small Trust, In The Heart Of Cheshire. Our Hope Is To Bring These Friendly Rescue Animals Into The Local Community For Educational Visits.
Funding Will Cover Veterinary Fees, Educational Materials, Medicine, Food & Costs Associated With Birthing. Profits Are Donated To The Guillain-Barré Syndrome Charity.
The Charity Has Been Chosen By The Trustees, As Member Of The Family Passed Away From The Rare Disease. The Charity Is Underfunded, And Needs Research & Development Funding.
