Our Work in the community

Woodlands Farm offers a sanctuary where individuals can immerse themselves in the healing powers of nature and animal companionship. Interacting with animals has been scientifically shown to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and increase levels of serotonin and dopamine, which are neurotransmitters associated with happiness and well-being. By rescuing animals in need of rehoming and integrating them into our therapeutic activities, we not only save these animals but also enrich the lives of those who care for them.

Nurserys

We support nurseries by offering Forest School days, where young children can explore and learn in a natural environment. These sessions are designed to foster curiosity, confidence, and a love for the outdoors, providing hands-on experiences with nature that encourage teamwork, creativity, and physical activity.

02

Schools

We collaborates with schools to facilitate alpaca visits and mental health workshops. By bringing alpacas directly to schools, the charity provides a unique, interactive learning experience that promotes joy and engagement among students.

Residential Homes

We partner with residential homes to organise alpaca visits and mental health workshops. These visits offer residents the therapeutic joy of interacting with gentle alpacas, enhancing their day with a sense of calm and happiness.

Animal Rescue

The charity is dedicated to animal rescue, focusing on providing care, rehabilitation, and finding forever homes for animals in need. It operates with a deep commitment to animal welfare, offering a safe haven for neglected, abandoned, or injured animals. Through its efforts, the charity not only gives animals a second chance at life but also raises awareness about the importance of responsible pet ownership and the value of all living beings.
